Hi my name is Thomas and I'm the head guide at ClanAdventures. Our aim at Clanadventures is to bring affordable outdoor adventures for every age group and ability. All guides used at clanadventures have full training as well as outdoor first aid certificates and public liability insurance. All our locations have been risk assessed and have been chosen to suite everyone of suitable ability. We cater for complete beginners to fully experienced adrenalin junkies. From stag and hen parties. Corporate team building to full on expeditions. From granddad and grandma to mum and dad, we have adventures for everyone of every age.

Coasteering

Everything you are not allowed to do at a swimming pool 

 

Coasteering involves making your way along the awe inspiring coastline of Scotland at sea level, where you will find yourself swimming into sea caves, climbing through natural rock arches, throwing yourself of towering cliffs and rock faces, you will be playing in the waves and surf. You will see wildlife up close and there is always a chance to swim with seals.

Gorge Walking

Why take the path!

 

Gorge walking is a water activity that involves following the water coarse that drop down from our hills and mountains. Gorge walking is the little brother to canyoning. The techniques that can be deployed  will include walking, climbing, scrambling, jumping, sliding and fun. Gorge walking can be a fantastic day out for the whole family.

Cliff & Bridge Jumping

Are you up to the challenge. Propelling yourself from towering cliffs and bridges in some of Scotland most stunning locations. You day will start with instructions and demonstration of the proper a safe jumping technique which will be used throughout the day. You will then start your Adventure. Starting small and If ability allowed you will have the opportunity to jump from heights that you previously had nightmares about.

Canyoning

 Scotland's best kept secret

 

Canyoning/canyoneering in the US, is an activity that involves descending the water coarse, that drop down from mountains and hills descending through gorges or canyons. Canyoning is the more technical big brother to gorge walking and scrambling. The techniques that can be deployed in the decent will include walking, climbing, scrambling, jumping, abseiling, swimming , sliding and fun. Canyoning requires specialized equipment and techniques to complete the canyon safely. Some of our canyons require previous experience as well as low group numbers.
